Few hours after a female suicide bomber detonated explosives at a busy motor park in Dukku, Gombe State, another suicide attack took place at the Bauchi Central Market around 5.30pm when the traders were closing for the day.
The number of casualties is unclear at this point as rescue operations are still on-going. Governor Isa Yaguda has condemned the attack describing it as a barbaric act aimed at disrupting the peace of the state.
