Over 100 soldiers to face court-martial

Just a few days after the Nigerian Army sentenced more than 50 of its soldiers to death by firing squad for mutiny, more soldiers are set to to face court-martial. The military personnel were transferred from Maiduguri to Abuja on Tuesday to face charges that are unknown to the public at the moment.

Speaking on the incident, Defence Spokesperson, Brig. Gen. Chris Olukolade, said that there was no need for panic as court martial is a regular and normal occurrence in the army and a tool for discipline.
