Fifa has released the final shortlist of candidates for this years Ballon d'Or winner. In contention are Portuguese Captain and Real Madrid playmaker, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi of Argentina and Barcelona, and German goalie, Manuel Neuer who plays for Bayern Munich.
Ronaldo, the favourite, will be looking to win the award for the third time in his career but will face competition from world cup finalists, Neuer and Messi (who has won the award five times).
