Cisse handed 3-match ban for violent conduct

Newcastle striker, Papis Cisse, is set to miss his club's next three fixtures against Burnley, Leicester and Chelsea after accepting a charge for violent conduct from the Football Association. Cissé elbowed an opposition player, Séamus Coleman during Newcastle’s 3-2 victory against Everton on Sunday but escaped the wrath of referee Craig Pawson.

The 29-year-old may not feel the impact of this suspension anyway because he is expected to take part in the Africa Cup of Nations starting in January. He has since apologized for his action.
