19 people die in Gombe motor park after female suicide attack

No fewer than 19 people have been confirmed dead and more than 40 others wounded after a female suicide bomber, disguised as a passenger, detonated explosives at Dukku motor park in Gombe State at about 10:50 am on Monday.

Sources close to the scene of the attack have confirmed that the park was filled with passengers travelling to their respective destinations to celebrate Christmas.

Many of the injured victims are now receiving treatment at the Gombe Specialist Hospital.
