I’ll tackle corruption, Buhari vows at flag off of campaign in Port Harcourt

“The fundamental issue facing this country is insecurity and the problem of the economy which has been made worse by corruption. I assure you that we are going to finally assemble a competent team of Nigerians to efficiently manage this country…” This was the promise made by the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari, at the flag off of his campaign in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Buhari also appealed to Nigerians noting that if elected “it will take time, patience and support” from all to address the problem of corruption and insecurity in the country. The former Head of State waved away claims that he is too old to rule the country. He asked Nigerians to support him in his quest to provide quality leadership at the federal level.

The APC National Chairman, Chief John Oyegun told the mammoth crowd to ensure a better future for Nigeria by making the right choice to change the national leadership. He noted that if there is any hope of corruption to be wiped out of the system, Buhari is the right man for the job.
