Oil workers commence 3-day warning strike
Unfair labour practices, non-passage of the Petroleum Industry Bill, non implementation of payment reached between government and the union are some of the reasons cited by oil workers under the auspices of the Petroleum Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) as the commenced a 3-day warning strike.
The impact of this strike action is already being felt as long queues were seen at filling stations in the Federal Capital Territory.
Meanwhile the Federal Government has reacted by summoning the concerned parties for a meeting on Tuesday in the Office of the Minister of Labour
