Russia's parliament has approved the request by President Putin to deploy 2000 troops to Crimea, Ukraine.
Ukraine has witnessed an unrest after the parliament passed a vote of no confidence on President Viktor Yanukovych whose pro-Russia leadership style was opposed by Ukrainians in support of a greater alliance with Europe.
US President, Barack Obama has warned Ukraine against deploying troops to the troubled country.
