Human rights activists, Mr. Femi Falana, has condemned the decision of the National Assembly to launch an investigation into the tragedy that occurred during the recent recruitment exercise organized by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) that resulted in a stampede which claimed many lives and left some other applicants hospitalized.
Falana insists that the lawmakers have no business with issues of that nature and should therefore allow the National Human Rights Commission and other bodies vested with such responsibilities to do their job. The human rights activist was speaking in an interview with Channels Television.
