Breaking News: Malaysian airline crashed in Indian Ocean; no survivors
After more than two weeks of intense search for a Malaysian airline, Flight MH370, that went missing shortly after take off, it has finally been confirmed based on a new satellite analysis that the airline ended its journey in the southern Indian Ocean.
The airline had 239 passengers on board, most of whom were Chinese. Malaysia's Prime Minister has since offered his condolences to families and friends of those who lost their lives. He broke the news today noting that based on a new data analysis, Flight MH-370 ended its journey in the Southern Indian Ocean, west of Australia.
“It is therefore with deep sadness and regret that I inform you that according to this new data, Flight MH-370 ended in the Southern Indian Ocean.” The Prime Minister also ruled out any possibility of survivors despite the absence of any wreckage. He stated that this (Indian Ocean) is a remote location, far from any landing site” and the search teams involved used “the type of analysis never before used in any investigation.”
Meanwhile, the relatives of the passengers were in tears when the heartbreaking information was revealed to them in Beijing via a text message from the airline officials noting that they believe beyond reasonable doubt that the plane has been lost after it crashed in the Southern Indian Ocean.
China’s Deputy Foreign Minister has also requested for a detailed evidence to be provided by the Malaysian authorities.
