National Conference: Delegates agree on voting pattern
Delegates at the on-going National Conference have finally resolved the deadlock over voting modalities. When the conference reopened today for the third week, the delegates finally agreed on a 70 percent voting pattern for decision making.
Vice Chairman of the Conference, Prof. Bolaji Akinyemi revealed that the decision was reached after the selected "wise men" met with the leadership between Tuesday and Wednesday last week. The motion for acceptance was moved by Sen. Iyorchia Ayu and seconded by former governor Victor Attah. The voice vote was then conducted and majority of the delegates favoured the decision.
