National Conference resumes

The 492 delegates converged again today as the National Conference resumed its sitting. Issues such as how consensus could be reached left them divided, with some insisting that a two-third majority is ideal.

On how sub-committee Chairman and their deputy should emerge, it was agreed that the decision should be left to members of the committees.

The conference adjourned till 10am on Tuesday.
