The Central Bank of Nigeria office in Lagos State went on fire today at about 5:00 PM.
It took the intervention of men of the Fire Service who later arrived the scene of the apex bank at the Tinubu area of Lagos Island.
The fire is reported to have started from the first floor which houses the administrative department. It is however not clear at this point what led to the inferno.
No live was lost in the process.
