President Jonathan declares National Conference open


President Goodluck Jonathan has formerly declared the National Conference open. The opening ceremony which took place at the National Judicial Institute, Abuja, attracted many dignitaries and top government officials from across the country as well has the 492 delegates to take part in the conference.

In his address, the President urged the delegates to ‘do nothing in this conference that will undermine our efforts and desire to build a truly great nation.’ President Jonathan called on all to put all the problems that have been faced in the country behind them and work towards a better Nigeria as the nation enters it’s second century. ‘Yesterday’s prejudice should die with yesterday’, he said.
