Dr. Willie Obiano was today sworn in as Governor of Anambra State, South East Nigeria as former Governor, Peter Obi stepped aside on completion of his tenure. The ceremony was held at the Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka, and was administered by the state Chief Judge, Justice Peter Umeadi.
The ceremony was witnessed by government fuctionaries from all over the country as well as the former Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Azubuike Ihejirika. Obiano promised to provide quality leadership to the people and give priority to security, power and agriculture.
