The Department of State Security Service has apprehended a 7-man Boko Haram gang involved in the murder of an Islamic Cleric, Auwal Albani, on February 1. Albani was killed alongside his wife and son because of his pro-Western teaching which was contrary to Boko Haram's ideology.
Spokesperson of the SSS, Marilyn Ogar, who disclosed these information also disclosed that the suspects will soon be charged to court. She also called on Nigerians to offer more support to law enforcement agencies in the fight against terrorism.
