Group demands forensic audit of CBN under Sanusi

The Civil Societies Organisation has called on the anti-corruption agencies in the country to launch a thorough investigation of the activities of the Central Bank of Nigeria under the leadership of Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.

The group has also demanded for a forensic audit on the apex bank under Sanusi's watch. Addressing a press conference, the group's president advised the suspended CBN not to go to court to seek redress but rather 'go back to the classroom to learn financial management'.

Sanusi had denied allegations of financial recklessness levelled against him and had his request for a court order preventing government agencies from harassing him granted.
