Ahead of the final between Libya and Ghana, Nigeria's home-based Super Eagles have defeated Zimbabwe to win the bronze prize in their first appearance at the on-going championship.
The Super Eagles put in a good display but had to wait till the 85th minute of the game when Christian Obiozor met a fine cross by Ejike Uzoenyi’s and made no mistake with his header. The victory serves as a consolation for the Nigerian side who were knocked out of the competition by today's finalists, Ghana.
