The All Progressives Congress has hired an international political consulting firm, AKPD Message and Media, “to boost its electoral chances in the upcoming elections’’. This was confirmed in a statement by the party's Interim National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.
The statement noted that the U.S. firm has a strong reputation for supporting leading populist movements across the globe.
“As a party destined to bring change and succour to all Nigerians, APC is proud and excited to work with one of the foremost exponents of change in the world,’’ the statement said.
“AKPD Message and Media has worked with key Democratic Party candidates throughout the U.S., with a reputation for supporting leading populist movements across the globe.’’
The opposition party has clearly stated it's intention to unseat the ruling Peoples Democratic Party come 2015 when Nigerians will go to the polls to elect their representatives in government.
