Nigerian Military repels attack by insurgents on Babbangida Village


Men of the Nigerian military succeeded in repelling an attack by Boko Haram insurgents on Babbangida town in Yobe State North-East Nigeria last night after hours of confrontation in a fierce gun battle.

The sect members laid siege on the town at about 6:30pm on Saturday launched an attack on the military base and the police station situated in the northern and southern part of the town before also attacking the Local Government secretariat, the Government Lodge and the boarding primary school in the area
