House of Reps ask INEC to allow use of Temporary Voters’ Cards for next month's poll

The House of Representatives has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to allow the use of temporary voters card to vote during the general elections next month due to the challenges of distributing PVCs to eligible voters before the polls commence.

This came after the Minority Leader of the House, Mr Femi Gbajabiamila moved a motion that the commission should include in its guidelines for the elections, a provision allowing registered voters with temporary voters cards to participate in the electoral process.
