A presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has reacted to recent comments by the Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola, that the Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate in Lagos, Jimi Agbaje is too old to govern the sate. He apparently accused the APC governor of hypocrisy considering that the party has someone older that Agbaje as its presidential candidate.
Reacting also to Fashola's remarks, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, who lost the PDP ticket to Agbaje at the primary election, also accused the Lagos State Governor of hypocrisy noting that the National Youth leader of the APC is only a little younger than Jimi Agbaje. The former Minister of State for Defence noted also that General Muhammadu Buhari who is his (Fashola) party's presidential flag bearer is 16 years older than the Lagos PDP governorship candidate.
