The Benue State chapter of the All Progressives Congress is having its fair share of internal crises as aggrieved governorship aspirants express displeasure over the party’s choice of Mr. Simeon Ortom as the consensus candidate to fly its flag at the governorship election.
Some of the aggrieved members reportedly wrote a petition to the opposition party but did not get a response. This led two of the aspirants to approach the court of law for redress. The APC consensus candidate is however of the opinion that due process was followed in his selection
