Francois Hollande, world leaders lead solidarity march against terror


French President, Francois Hollande on Sunday led thousands of people on a solidarity march in honour of the victims who lost their lives in terror attacks on Paris. He was accompanied by several world leaders including Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, Mali’s President, Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, Germany’s Chancellor, Angela Merkel, European Council President, Donald Tusk, Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, Italy’s Prime Minister, Matteo Renzi and Switzerland’s President Simonetta Sommaruga.



The world leaders linked arms as they marched on in the procession which kicked off at central Place de la Republique. Heavy security presence was witnessed as authorities were on alert to forestall any attack.
