"We have been dinning with the devil" Shekarau blast APC leadership, defects to PDP

The last has not been heard of party defections across the political landscape of Nigeria as the ruling party battles with the opposition ahead of the general elections in 2015.

Weeks after Kano state Governor, Rabi'u Musa Kwankwaso along with some other PDP Governors defected to the APC following the crisis rocking the PDP, his rival and predecessor, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau has denounced the APC for the PDP and urged his supporters all over the state and country to do likewise.

Shekarau noted that he together with other members of the defunct All Nigeria People's Party (ANPP) are decamping to the ruling People's Democratic Party (PDP).

The 2011 presidential aspirant said the refusal of the APC leadership to respect the initial agreement to oversee party affairs for six months, during which time elections will be conducted for party officials, and their refusal to even acknowledge receipt of a letter of complaint sent to the interim leadership made them come to the realization that they had been 'dinning with the devil.'
