The Ogun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expelled Nigeria's former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, after the latter tore his membership card in the presence of party leaders at his residence in Abeokuta today.
Announcing the decision of the party, the PDP Chairman in Ogun State noted that the former President had provoked the wrath of the party after repeatedly engaging in anti-party activities. He condemned Obasanjo for his recent utterances against the party and President Jonathan stating that the the ex-president was not tolerant of criticisms during his tenure in office.
