In line with the provisions of the electoral act, the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Mahmud Mohammed, today set up the 2015 Elections Petition Tribunal in anticipation of any decision by a political party or candidate to challenge the outcome of the forthcoming general elections.
Justice Mohammed said the National Judicial Council will not tolerate any act that will bring the judiciary to disrepute. He urged the judges to be fair and honest in handling cases brought before them.
