Bring Back Our Girls Campaign Group start countdown to rescue of Chibok Girls’

Members of the Bring Back Our Girls campaign began a six-week count-down for the rescue of the Chibok girls who have been held in captivity for about ten months now. The co-convener of the group and former Minister of Education, Dr. Obiageli Ezekwesili, said the countdown will help them monitor the activities of the multinational forces in their bid to recover lost territories from insurgents and rescue Chibok girls in the process.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced a shift in date for the 2015 general elections by six weeks following a request by the Nigerian military to be given more time to launch a massive attack on insurgents in the troubled North East region.
