The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Imo State, Captain Emmanuel Ihenacho has denied reports that he has pulled out of the race in order to support the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Emeka Ihedioha. He made this known on Wednesday when his campaign train made a stop at Nkwerre and Nwangele Local Government Areas in the state.
According to the APGA candidate, there is no basis for such claims as the people of Imo State are in dire need of a change at the helm of affairs. Ihenacho promised to provide free and qualitative education to the younger population and run an administration different from previous governments that make empty promises. He told the crowd of supporters that APGA is the only party that has the interest of the Igbo people at heart.
