The Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos has accused the Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency of being partial in the destruction of campaign posters and bill boards across the state. According to the state PDP Chairman, LASAA has always favoured the candidates of the All Progressives Congress over other political parties in the discharge of its duties.
Reacting to complaints filed against LASAA by various political parties, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police warned against such actions and stated that he has directed men of the force to arrest anyone who attempts to remove campaign posters or bill boards of any candidate.
LASAA has however dismissed the accusations, insisting that they follow the stated guidelines when ripping of electioneering posters.
