Imo Governorship Poll: INEC to conduct supplementary election on April 25

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Imo State has fixed Saturday April 25 for the supplementary of the governorship elections in 256 polling units across 23 local government areas. Addressing a news conference on Wednesday at the INEC headquarters in Owerri, the Imo State capital in south-east Nigeria, the INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state, Gabriel Ada, said the commission was more prepared and ready to conduct the supplementary election.

Imo 2015: Ihenacho denies stepping down for PDP candidate

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Imo State, Captain Emmanuel Ihenacho has denied reports that he has pulled out of the race in order to support the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Emeka Ihedioha. Ihedioha Thanks Delegates for success at PDP primaries

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship candidate in Imo State and Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha has thanked delegates for choosing him as the party's flagbearer for the 2015 election.
