Nollywood actors and actresses have promised to ensure an overwhelming victory for President Goodluck Jonathan at the February 14 presidential election. They made this promise when the President hosted them at the State House in Marina, Lagos State today.
Some of the actors including Segun Arinze and Bovi assured the President that the industry will mobilize support for his re-election. They lauded him for paying attention to the movie industry and taking Nollywood to a new level.
President Jonathan appreciated the movie stars and promised to do more for the industry if re-elected. He told them that with the fall in price and demand of oil globally, it has become necessary for the government to pay more attention to other sectors of the economy.
