UN Security Council condemns violence in Syria and Mali

The Nigeria-led United Nations Security Council meeting has condemned the circle of violence in Syria and Mali. Prof. Joy Ugwu who recalled the resolution entered in 2013, asked "the Malian government and the signatory and adherent armed groups in the north of Mali that have cut off all ties with terrorist organisations and committed unconditionally to the agreement to urgently agree a road map for an inclusive and credible negotiation process open to all communities of the north of Mali."
