The governor of Sokoto State, Aliyu Wamakko, has boasted that more governors are set to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) soon. He made this claim on Saturday in Wamakko after the conduct of ward congresses in Wamakko Local Government Area.
Wammako who along with five of his colleagues dumped the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) last year, however declined from mentioning the governors.
He described the conduct of the ward congress as successful, noting that “the party will win all the elective positions at all levels during the forthcoming general elections in Nigeria.”
