The Elephants of Cote d'Ivoire and the Black Stars of Ghana are through to the final of the 2015 African Cup of Nations after securing victory over their respective opponents in the semi final stage of the competition.
Cote d'Ivoire triumphed in a 3-1 victory over DR Congo on Wednesday while Ghana thrashed tournament host, Equatorial Guinea 3-0 on Thursday to the dismay of the home fans who became violent in the late stages of the match. It took the efforts of security agents to calm supporters before the game resumed after more than 30 minutes.
Its just another 90 minutes that separates both teams from the ultimate prize.
