Ivory Coast: former First Lady, Simone Gbagbo, docked
A former First Lady of Ivory Coast, Simone Gbagbo, is currently standing trial for her alleged role in the post-election violence that claimed about 3,000 lives five years ago. She has been charged along with 82 supporters of her husband, Laurent Gbagbo, who is awaiting trial at the International Criminal Court (ICC) on charges of crimes against humanity.

ICC drop charges against Kenyatta
The International Criminal Court in Hague has dropped war crime charges levelled against Kenya's President, Uhuru Kenyatta, after the prosecution failed to provide enough evidence to pursue the case.

Mass exodus as Muslims flee CAR
Thousands of Muslims are fleeing Bangui, the capital of Central African Republic after recent attacks on the Muslim minority by the Christian majority. The muslims are being haunted for alleged atrocities committed by the defunct Muslim rebel government. CAR witnessed a tit-for-tat violence in December last year which resulted in the death of more than 1,000 people in Bangui.
