Twin blasts in Egypt leave six wounded

Egypt's Interior Ministry has confirmed Six people, including four policemen were today wounded after a twin blast near a police checkpoint in Giza, on the outskirts of Cairo.

UN condemns attack on journalists in Egypt

The United Nations has condemned the "increasingly severe clampdown and physical attacks" on journalists by Egyptian authorities, with particular reference to three Al Jazeera reporters held for more than a month.
